In a weak economy with jobless rates still very high, you’d think companies would be cutting back, especially when it comes to throwing a Holiday party. However, so far in 2012 the pace for corporate holiday party bookings are solid and steady. Popular venues such as The Sea Grill at Rockefeller Center are being booked and it doesn’t show any sign of stopping.
When should you book your corporate holiday party?
Well, if you haven’t done so, now is the time to contact restaurants or hotels of interest. Unlike the past 4 or 5 years, these veneues ARE being booked and deposited. So if you are the company event planner or company owner and you are charge of the Holiday party, it’s time to get moving or the venue you want will be gone!
Is this a sign the economy is on the upswing or just a way to uplift spirits in a depressed jobs market? We can only wait and see.
