Artificial Agent might be from out of this world but they have currently taken up residency in Michigan and have decided to bring fans more post grunge driven rock music to enjoy, during their stay on earth.
Artificial Agent is making a name for themselves in the Michigan music industry by creating music that is true to their core genre, classic hair metal. Often pulling from musical influences such as, KISS, Motley Crue and Queens of the Stone Age; Artificial Agent combines both old and new school influences to create their captivating sound that has drawn fans in from all across the Midwest.
I had the chance to interview Artificial Agent. We discussed everything from the relevancy of their music in 2012, to how social media has changed how the band is able to interact with fans. The following is my entire interview with Artificial Agent.
C: When did you first discover that you wanted to do something with music?
A: When I was 7 or 8 in earth years.
C: How would you describe your musical sound?
A: Post Grunge/ Stoner / Hair Metal
C: What musical influences do you pull from when you are performing or writing music?
A: Queens of The Stone Age/ Kiss /Motley Crue / Fu Manchu
C: You have gained quite a large following in Michigan and beyond, what was the process of coming up in the industry like?
A: We have met a lot of awesome local and national musicians. That has been fun. It is really awesome to play in front of new people. Meeting new fans and seeing fans that have been around since the beginning is amazing.
C: How would you describe the Michigan music scene?
A: There is always a awesome variety of music in this town.
C: How do you all as a band feel social media has helped and will continue to help your career?
A: It is so easy to get your music out to the masses.
C: What does your musical future hold?
A: We are writing a new record now. Plus each band member has many other projects . We love music.
