A new music festival will make its mark on Cincinnati this coming July 13-15. Over three days the Bunbury Music Festival will feature national headliners including Jane’s Addiction on Friday, Weezer on Saturday and Death Cab for Cutie on Sunday.
The festival will take place at Sawyer Point and feature 100 performances on 6 stages. It’s being presented by MidPoint Music Festival co-founder Bill Donabedian and will use technology and ecology as part of the festival theme.
The Bunburry will also feature great regional music by bringing together many of the local bands that have been gaining recognition at other festivals. This lineup includes The Seedy Seeds, The Pomegranates, 500 Miles to Memphis, Foxy Shazam, and the Bad Veins.
In addition to the huge roster of bands and disk jockeys scheduled, there are other notables. The Manchester Orchestra is scheduled for Saturday and local favorite Guided by Voices is slated to perform Sunday.
