As many of you may know, the Call of Duty series will see yet another franchise expansion this year, with “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2”. Taking place in a futuristic setting, this sequel to the original Black Ops is hoping to bring a new experience to the Call of Duty series, being the first to involve a plot-line set in the future.
In reference to this upcoming release, Activision has decided to announce a pre-order bonus that players will have access to for free, if pre-ordered from selected retailers. Players will gain access to a copy of the multiplayer map Nuketown 2025. As players from the original “Black Ops” may remember, this map will be reimagined from the map that was present in the original “Call of Duty: Black Ops” multiplayer component.
The following is what is stated on the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 website in reference to this pre-order bonus:
Pre-order now to get your copy of the Nuketown 2025 downloadable bonus map. Relive the close quarters chaos of this classic fan-favorite map, reimagined in a visionary depiction of the “Model Home of the Future.”
As listed on the official website, it seems that this pre-order bonus will be available through Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. This pre-order bonus applies for all platforms and will be available to players when the game launches on November 13, 2012.
