This collection is a musical-cornucopia treasure chest of jazz standards, famous classical masterpieces and soon-to-be instant favorites, due to the contributions from featured guest legendary artists. Thirteen songs make up the ‘Impressions’ collection. Some of the guest artists that contribute to ‘Impressions’ are Andrea Bocelli, Caroline Campbell, , David Foster, Herbie Hancock, Mark Knopfler, and Vince Gill.
Country star Vince Gill sings ‘Losing You,’ is the first song to this collection. Frederick Chopin’s Prelude number 20 in C minor is one of the classical masterpieces featured on ‘Impressions.’ Jazz pianist legend, Herbie Hancock contributes to the song, ‘Tango Suite.’ Another song is from legendary Italian Tenor, Andrea Bocelli, as he sings in ‘Per Te.’ Brazilian guitarist Leonardo Amuedo contributes in songs ‘Setembro,’ written by Ivan Lins and ‘En Aranjuez Con Tu Amor,’ a classical song by 20th century composer, Rodrigo. A hit for artists R. Kelly and Michael Jackson, the song, ‘You are Not Alone,’ will be a hit for Chris Botti as well. Chris Botti performs a great version of the song ‘Over the Rainbow,’ from the movie, ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ and made famous by Judy Garland. An American classic, ‘What a Wonderful World,’ made famous by Louis Armstrong has its own great version by Mark Knopfler. ‘Summertime,’ written by George Gershwin, made famous by many artists such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Stan Getz will become another classic version, performed by famed producer and pianist David Foster. American violinist, Caroline Campbell contributes melodically in her contribution to the song, ‘Oblivion.’
