Raven Rocks Gallery is featuring their newest gallery artist, jewelry designer Primo D. Smith in a show called “Jewels of the Isle.” Primo Smith’sone-of-a-kind jewelry creations will be on display until July 5th.
Primo currently resides in Los Angeles, but has strong family ties to Whidbey Island, His elegantly crafted beadwork necklaces are designed to compliment the hand cut gemstones and found objects he has discovered. Primo believes that “Having passion in your life helps give personal power to live fully.. I enjoy being given the freedom to be creative.”
This collection of necklaces features classic heirloom wearable art that can be enjoyed for generations, all at remarkably attractive prices.
Additionally, June will bring new original “Raven Love Notes”, “Ravens in Love” and exquisite extemporaneous needlework by Windwalker Taibi, as well as fantasy paintings, “Scrumble” dolls and mixed media creations by Mary Jo Oxrieder.
Other regular regular gallery artists include stained glass mosaics by Carl and Sandy Bryant, lovely heart touching oils by Marcia Van Doren, and hand crafted driftwood feathers by Roger White.
Primo, Mary Jo, Windwalker, will be on hand for the opening reception during the First Friday Artwalk and Wine Tasting on June 1st from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
