San Antonio Tea & Herb Enthusiasts will meet at Cafe Aroma, 14375 Blanco Road, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday May 31. Cafe Aroma is most famous for its Lavazza espresso, but there are some solid tea choices on the menu, as well.
The door prizes of tea, teaware, or related items will be drawn at 8pm. Have a lovely beverage, dinner, dessert or all three. I’ll bring some free tea samples, too, and the Share Box (where tea and teaware go when they’re looking for a new home).
Cafe Aroma Online Menu
The Cafe Aroma menu is not large by any measure, but the food quality is so much better than Bagel Factory stuff … plus, this is a kosher coffee shop. Cafe Aroma’s philosophy seems to be “Do few things and do them well,” a concept which proved famously successful for Brother Francis and Sister Clare in founding their Christian religious orders in Assisi Italy, back in the 13th century.
Cafe Aroma’s choices include iced tea, chai latte and several flavors of hot tea … Lavazza espresso, beautiful pastries, sandwiches, salads. In a world from which it’s often “too big to choose,” I find this refreshing. And all the choices are good ones!
