The luxury hotel brand, which includes two Colorado properties, is pledging $50,000 to support undergraduate students enrolled in the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management at Denver University. Creating an endowed fund, the scholarship fund is being matched by DU over a term of five years, creating a $100,000 endowment fund.
“We are excited to partner with DU and create a fund that will benefit many students in the years to come,” says Bill Thomas, director of human resources for Four Seasons Hotel Denver. “Additionally, we look forward to hiring DU graduates to work within our hotels and resorts.”
Already actively recruiting from DU, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has placed 11 DU graduates as management trainees in several properties around the country. From Texas to Hawaii, Colorado to California, the effect is being felt across the nation. Creating the Four Seasons Endowed Scholarship will provide resources enabling talented managers-in-the-making to attend Knoebel School at DU.
