Korsak’s political platform
John Korsak’s political platform is based faith, family, and freedom; and he believes that these are the pillars that will restore the public’s trust and confidence in state government. John has strong positions on several policy issues, including the Economy, Education, the Environment, Public Safety and Security, Gun Rights, and Veterans’ Affairs; but he believes that elected officials need to have established core values, ethics, and good character before real solutions to today’s problems can be adequately addressed.
Korsak’s main policy issue is in building a pro-business environment in Florida. To that end, he plans to pursue policies that create a fair and transparent tax system, reduce Florida’s regulatory environment, and develop a better education system for the next generation of entrepreneurs and tradesmen.
John is committed to fight against federal encroachment on the rights of individuals and Florida’s sovereignty; and will work to eliminate costly and ineffective programs in education. Korsak understands the necessity to balance the responsible use of and control over resources without damaging or polluting the environment, and ensure private property rights take precedent over the governmental practice of eminent domain.
Korsak also says that he will enhance public safety and awareness by encouraging preparations for natural disasters, fighting illegal immigration, and creating a more efficient emergency management system that relies on the private sector instead of government grants. Korsak will work to protect the Second Amendment Rights of Floridians, and will protect the rights and needs of disabled veterans by working closely with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
