On Tuesday, John Travolta’s first accuser dropped the sexual abuse lawsuit against him. After claiming that he was sexually assaulted by Travolta after giving him a massage, “John Doe number one” has decided not to further pursue the case.
“Let’s just say we had differences in opinion of how to handle the case and decided to part ways,” the first accuser’s lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, tells PEOPLE.
Travolta is not out of the woods just yet, however. A second accuser has come forward in the past couple of weeks and is seeking $2M from the Gotti actor, also claiming that he was sexually assaulted after giving him a massage at his salon in Atlanta. Thus far, Travolta’s attorney has been very clear about his intent to disprove the “absurd” claims made by these unnamed men.
John Travolta’s first accuser left the game rather quickly. This isn’t the first time that Travolta has been faced with this type of lawsuit and some people actually believed that some evidence of such sexual behavior would be presented in court, however it doesn’t look like Travolta will even go to court. “John Doe number one” decided to drop the lawsuit after his story started twisting, generally a clear sign that someone is lying. It is unknown if “John Doe number two” will continue to press forward with his allegations or if he has any evidence to support his claims. Travolta’s lawyer does not seem too concerned about this lawsuit actually taking shape and is working to get things taken care of.
The first accuser in the John Travolta sex scandal may decide to reopen his case, especially if the second accuser makes headway. Otherwise, one can expect these claims to go away quietly.
