It’s a big night of eighties rock on Tuesday, October 9, 2012, as Journey, Pat Benatar, and Loverboy are set to play Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The announcement has been made on Loverboy’s website and on pollstar.com.
There’s been no word yet on ticket prices or when tickets go on sale. To keep up to date on ticket information, keep checking verizonarena.com and ticketmaster.com.
Journey’s newest album, “Eclipse,” came out just last year, but the staples of their live shows are still their classics like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “ Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’,” “ Any Way You Want it” and “Open Arms.” Vocalist Steve Perry left the band long ago, but new singer Arnel Pineda has gotten a lot of great reviews. Original guitarist Neal Schon, and long-time members Jonathan Cain and Ross Valory are all still in the band’s current lineup.
Pat Benatar has been touring with her husband and original guitarist, Neil Girardo for many years. They had several top ten hits in the eighties including “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” “Shadows of the Night” and “Love is a Battlefield.”
Loverboy has also been touring since the eighties. They were another big act whose hits included “Turn Me Loose,” “Working for the Weekend” and “Hot Girls in Love.”
