On Saturday June 22, 2012, Pink Floyd tribute band Eclipse lit up The Knitting Factory Concert House in downtown Reno with an awesome laser light show. The band played almost every song you would want to hear by the Legendary Pink Floyd live.
Attendance was very good, around 700 fans of all ages.
The show lasted nearly two hours and there were two sets, as the band took a short intermission after around 45 minutes.
The sets went like this, “In The Flesh’, “Young Lust”, “Breathe”, “Time”, “The Great Gig In The Sky”, “Money”, “Us & Them”, “Any Colour”, “Brain Damage”, “Eclipse”, (20 min. intermission) “Shine On You Crazy Diamond”, “Have A Cigar”, “Welcome To The Machine”, “Mother”, “Is Anybody Out There”, “Learning To Fly”, “The Happiest Days Of Our Lives”, “Another Brick In The Wall 2”, “Another Brick In The Wall 3/Goodbye”, “Hey You”, “Pigs (three different ones)”, “Wish You Were Here”, “Comfortably Numb”, and “Run Like Hell”.
This examiner has seen many tribute bands over the years, but Eclipse was one of the best.
The band plays the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe area two or three times a year, you really don’t want to miss them the next time they perform.
