Vampires have birthdays, too, and to honor Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday this Wednesday, “Twilight Saga” fans are in for a real treat.
Recently released this morning, the full trailer for the final film in the bestselling “Twilight” series was released. The trailer is truly a present to behold—from Edward trying to protect their daughter Renesmee from the Volturi to Bella’s new life as a vampire, the trailer may only make it harder for fans to wait for this last movie, “Breaking Dawn Part 2.”
Bella Swan: A scene stealer as the trailer star of ‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’
With the “Breaking Dawn Part 2” movie adaptation due this November 16 for release in U.S. theaters, one might expect Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) to once again take a leading role over his new wife, the previous Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). However, the helpless heroine may not be so helpless any longer as a vampire with a beloved child to protect.
Released by Summit Entertainment early this Wednesday, the full trailer of “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” will have more fans than ever fawning over the fanged vampire family clan. As seen in the trailer, Bella now seems to take the spotlight as a sparkling immortal willing to do whatever it takes to keep her loved ones safe from the Volturi.
“After 18 years of being ordinary, I finally found I could shine … I was born to be a vampire,” Bella proudly says.
Werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) appears both shocked and impressed by this new Bella, yet still sees a little of the girl he once knew. “I didn’t expect you to seem so you,” he replies.
The Cullen family on the run in “Breaking Dawn Part 2” from the Volturi
A dangerous and ruling vampire coven known as the Volturi are the main danger in this final installment to the epic movie franchise. The Volturi believe that young child Renesmee (Mackenzie Foy) is not a birthed daughter, but a bitten one—a new vampire girl that would have terrible power.
Vampires Edward and Bella—as well as the united werewolves—will now do what it takes to save Renesmee and their kind from this new danger in the trailer. “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” will open in theaters November 16.
Bella later promises to Renesmee, “I’ll never let anybody hurt you.”
Now that may be the best birthday present Edward could ever get.
