Mexico may be a neighbor to the United States, but they offer more than meets the eye. Recently, the MoMA Design Store premiered their newest Destination series that partners design aficionados with Mexican innovation in home décor and furnishings. Titled, “Destination: Mexico,” the tenth design series highlights amazing finds from some of the best designers and offers a creative take on contemporary design through classic themes.
Mexican inspirations have become a strong force in the design industry providing enthusiasts with sun-drenched colors, rich patterns and a great sense of culture. There is such a strong use of natural elements in a very organic way that offers a seamless transition into our modern homes. What makes the MoMA Store’s Destination: Mexico so unique are the approaches to Mexican design. The contemporary mix of form and color makes the overall collection lovely and applicable to practically everyone.
Rather than continue to sing praises of the new series, why not just see it for yourself? Below are ten of my favorite items from Destination: Mexico that will add a little encanto (charm in Spanish) to your home. To view more, click here or visit www.momastore.com for even more finds.
